I took the kids to their first ballet today- my first ballet for that matter. I wasn't sure what to expect and wasn't sure what the kids reactions to the ballet would be. We saw Beauty and the Beast and A Midsummer Night's Dream at College of the Canyons' new Performing Arts Center.
The ballet was presented by the Santa Clarita Ballet Company and had performers ranging from beginner to professional and from young children to adult. We had a great time. It was a lot of fun and we all enjoyed the show. Mckenna even sat still for the two hours.
I'm hoping to take them back this winter to see The Nutcracker before Christmas.
