This was a very nice Christmas. It was a simple Christmas with few gifts for the kids but there was a wonderful feeling of family that warmed our home. A contentment that was soothing to the soul. So many Christmases seem to come and go with the feeling of being gorged - an uncomfortableness that settles in your belly for days from having too much. This Christmas was just enough. The kids were so appreciative of what they got. They are so wonderful. I have so much to be thankful for this year.
