Mckenna's school has a yearly book fair and after school event called Camp Read. The students and their families eat pizza, buy books at the book fair and listen to books being read. They have about 30 tents set up in the playground and volunteers sit in each tent to read a book. Each tent is decorated with the theme of the book being read. The kids move from one tent to another every 15 minutes to hear another book. Mckenna had a lot of fun playing with her school mates and running from one tent to another. Tiya and Devyn brought their skateboards to skate while Mckenna ran from tent to tent.
Mckenna fell asleep in the car on the way home- she was exhausted. Her bedtime story was the book that she picked out at the book fair.
